SHEN workshops are experiential and are designed to assist you with your own inner work. In this SHEN workshop, as in private SHEN sessions, you receive hands-on help to dissolve chronic pain, low self-worth, fear, numbness, grief, anger, stress and unwanted reactive patterns, and to access the empowering emotions of confidence, joy, well-being and love. The quantity as well as the quality of SHEN received in such a short time powerfully facilitates rapid, noticeable, real change.
In the workshop, we begin with basic SHEN theory, principles and techniques, and a simple SHEN protocol which relaxes tight muscles, relieves stress, and dissolves jet lag. You continue to expand your personal growth and your knowledge of SHEN techniques, as you receive and give SHEN throughout the workshop under the guidance of an experienced SHEN Therapy Instructor. You will discover that SHEN theory deepens and clarifies Eastern concepts of chakras and Chinese Wei Qi. You will also learn ways to enhance and use the the natural healing abilities you carry in your hands.
Health Professionals will find that referring clients to this workshop or for a brief series of private SHEN sessions will complement and advance their therapeutic efforts.
An increasing number of professionals take this workshop themselves to learn SHEN techniques and integrate them into their primary practice. They soon discover that SHEN not only compliments and augments their psychotherapeutic diagnostic and treatment skills, but also provides insight and furthering of their own personal inner work:

If you are a Health Care Professional, being able to work directly with emotions inside the body will be of immense benefit to your clients.

The atmosphere of the workshop is respectful, non-invasive and non-judgmental. You do not have to disclose anything you do not feel comfortable sharing. Anything you do share is confidential.
CEUs are available for Nurses and Massage Therapists with prior arrangement. SHEN Therapy workshops, teaching the principles and techniques of SHEN Physio-Emotional Release Therapy, are approved for CEUs as follows:
*Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider No. 8484, for 30 contact hours.
*Accepted as continuing education by the American Massage Therapy Association.
Completing this SHEN workshop is one of the requirements for those who wish to apply to the training program leading to professional certification as a SHEN Therapist by ISTA, the International SHEN Therapy Association.
Participating in a SHEN workshop can serve to meet the continuing education requirements necessary to maintain certification as a SHEN Therapist, if prior arrangements are made with ISTA.
Prior to taking your first workshop, each participant must have experienced at least one therapeutic session from a certified SHEN Therapist or a supervised SHEN Therapy Intern (You will gain a much greater sense of this work if you have receive three or more sessions).
The fee for this workshop is $475. Reviewer's fee is $400.
The number of participants in each workshop is limited so individual attention may be provided. On site lodging is usually available at a discounted rate.
